Design Program Manager
Meta
May 2022 - June 2023
Design Program Manager for the Messenger Design System and broader messaging platform initiatives. Owned operational excellence and integration of our team with cross-functional partners and the larger product organization.
Created, owned, and iterated on Design team processes for how we interact and work with cross-functional partners and how we support other Design teams at the company that rely on our design system. Led a cross-company platform initiative to define and align on standards for the features and components that make up various Meta messaging experiences. I partnered with Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers from over 20 teams to audit existing messaging experiences and align on a set of consistent standards that would define the future of messaging experiences for the company.
Planned, executed, and participated as a panelist in a company-wide panel discussion on measuring impact for Design Systems teams. I planned out all communications for the event, agenda, and ran the live-streaming while speaking on behalf of the Messenger Design System for some of the methodologies we used for measuring the impact of the team and system.
